Back in April, I did a fundraiser event for a project I’m helping out with called Super Street Fire. I had also made a scalemail dress for a few events (the very same one I’ll be wearing to Anime North) and decided I’d spin fire in it while my best friend took photos and people watched.

I did! It was chlorinated, and then powdered like a motherfucker. I think the reason it happened was because I didn’t add that extra inch or so for seam allowance or something. @_@
So, my outfit looked amazing. The top needed last minute adjustments, but it turned out awesome. Photos of the outfit itself will be coming soon!
The unfortunate part is the fact that my gloves managed to mess up my inner elbows like no tomorrow. It happened because they were really snug, and when I bent my arms at the elbow, the latex would pinch my skin.
The photos are a result of what happened. (With some bag balm on top :p) They look a little worse ~12 hours later, but eh, no need to take MORE photos of the injuries gained from looking awesome. :p
